Wedding Decor, Massachusetts
I had my first decor meeting as a bride with Shagun Decor and it was a great first impression! My mom, sister and I met with Seema and Chhaya at their décor studio in their home. They had a few tables displayed for wedding events with candles lit. I was impressed that they printed out my email and elaborated on the ideas I had for my wedding decor. They also had sketches of Indian wedding mandaps prepared as well as photos from Indian weddings that they have designed in the past to help me envision how they can develop my ideas before we arrived. Shagun had never been to my wedding venue, but I was delighted they had taken the time to research and prepare ideas for my wedding reception.
While they did not have actual items in their showroom, they provided Ipads with beautiful images of the wedding décor that they have created. Seema and Chhaya had a plethora of options and started to narrow down the focus of the pictures after listening to us. They showed us a wide range of South Asian weddings that they have worked on which really made us feel like hey are willing to take risks and be bold. Seema mentioned that they are still growing as a company and want to build their inventory so if there was something that I wanted for my wedding events, they would be willing to purchase it to build their stock (providing it wasn’t something crazy). We left knowing that if we wanted something that they did not have, they would go the extra mile to make attain it and make it happen for us.

I will be using Shagun this May for my wedding in NJ! I had a great meeting with one of the sisters in her home studio. Looking forward to having the beautiful red and orange mandap to marry under 🙂
