Planning your wedding is one of the most exciting times of your life.

Not to mention a bit stressful, this is normal. You want to make sure every detail is perfect and make all your dreams a reality. Key point: Stay Organized throughout the planning. From the moment you say Yes to I Do! You have to make some very easy and difficult decisions. Just keep in mind this is your wedding and it should be everything you ever dreamed of and deserve.

My first tip is HIRE A WEDDING PLANNER before you start any of your planning. Their
experience will help you with, Budget Planning, Timeline, Vendor referrals, and bringing your wedding vision to life.

Venue Search: Once you and your fiancé have set a budget, you should begin searching for
venues within your budget. Set appointments to visit the venues and review there packages.

Finding the PERFECT SARI/LENGHA: I recommend brides visit at least 3 Bridal boutiques to start the search. Try on as much dresses as possible and pick maybe 2 or 3 from each boutique that gives you “This is the one” feeling. Elimination from the dress selections should be so much easier.

Deciding on your Wedding/Reception Colors: Sometimes brides, choose colors depending on the season of their wedding.

Winter: Ice Blue, Silver, Gold, White, Red, and Green.

Spring: Lavender, Red, Pink, Yellow and Beige.

Summer: Orange, Fuchsia, Aqua Blue, and Green.

Fall: Rust Orange, Brown, Gold, Hunter Green and Burgundy.

Play with Paint Websites: You can try different color palettes to see what colors look best
together. Try websites like: Visit sites like Behr.com, Glidden.com, and Sherwin-Williams.com. BenjaminMoore.com even has an interactive color wheel.

Flowers: If you have a favorite flower that you would like to use for your wedding, you should research the colors they are available in. This may help you decide on a color.

Theme: Do you have a wedding theme? A lot of times brides incorporate a theme with their big day. This can be another way of helping you pick the perfect color scheme which will reflect your theme.

Ways to SAVE money: Here are a few ways to help keep your wedding cost within your budget.

Prioritize: Before booking anything, you and your fiancé should make a list of you top priorities. This will help you decide where you will need to splurge the most.

Limit the guest list: Your guest list will play a big factor on the amount of money you will spend. Try and negotiate with your parents, it’s not east but it can be done.
The more guest the more everything will cost. Most Venue pricing is based per person.

Picking a Wedding Day: Some venues, offer promotional pricing when you book your wedding during off peak season. Booking your wedding on a Weekday or Sunday can also save you some money.

Wedding / Reception Decorations: Keeping the décor for the reception simple can also help with low cost. Eliminating the amount of flowers can help with cost. Here are a few décor suggestions: tulle, candles, or rose pedals can be great ways of having a romantic setting and a low cost.
