Vaishaali and Vikas’s Indian wedding ceremony was unlike any other in that it started at midnight. They worked with Harprit from Always & Forever Wedding as their planner. The Indian wedding took place at Crown Palace in Surrey BC. Vikas galloped in on a white horse during the Baraat, while his family and friends danced in front of him. We are swooning over Vaishaali’s Indian bridal jewelry and outfit! This fashionista’s wedding lehenga complimented her bridesmaids dresses exquisitely.
The ceremony itself didn’t begin right away. After the bride & groom made their entrances, there was dinner & dancing. At a ceremony? Yup! That’s because Vashaali & Vikas actual ceremony started midnight. And the night ended at 3AM! The Indian wedding reception took place at the Renaissance Vancouver Harbourside Hotel on a separate evening. The reception cocktail hour took place at the 360 degree lounge at the top of the hotel. It was just stunning. It rotates around Vancouver every hour. We hope you enjoy their video!

Here is a reflection of the day from Vans weddings: It is through fate that a Sindhi girl living in the island paradise of Saint Thomas met a Sikh boy growing up in Vancouver, Canada. It is also through fate that Payal and Rajeev found us, fell in love with our work, and gave us the privilege of shooting their most epic Indian wedding. And what a wedding it was! With 600 guests from India, United States, Sweden, China, St Thomas, and all across Canada, and an entire week of unrivaled festivities featuring live performance from the UK band RDB, it is an easy contender for wedding of the year. Sikh wedding ceremony was held at Gurdwara Nanak Niwas (India Cultral Centre of Canada) in Richmond, pre-reception Sangeet was at South Hall Banquet Centre, and reception was at Pan Pacific Hotel in Canada Place.
