Engagement photography locations in Boston, Massachusetts, Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island
Santosh and I spent lot’s of time discussing what we wanted for our engagement photos. First we decided how we wanted to be seen as a couple, what would best represent us and what we like to do. There were tons of ideas and thoughts for the engagement photos. We chose to narrow it down by locations. He initially wanted to have our photos in New York, but it didn’t resonate well with me. You want to choose locations that compliment you as an individual and/or as a couple. Santosh offered that we do photos in a vineyard or farm because that’s where we want to get married and later I surprised him with the graffiti wall because that suits his Mr. New York personality. We also chose the park where he proposed as a place that holds sentimental value to us for our engagement photos. So choose a location that interests you rather that a specific thing (like a monument).
So where in New England can you do your engagement shoot? The possibilities are endless, so to narrow it down choose a season. From there you can decide what you want to wear or type of location (park, city, field etc).

Check with the venues before your go. Some places require a fee or permission to photograph there. Also you want to make sure there aren’t other events that day. Discuss your thoughts with your photographer, they work around the area every weekend and will be able to give you their professional opinion and guide you with the best Boston location for your photos. Share what type of photos you are thinking (if you have specific ideas) with your photographer.
We will be back with ideas on what to wear. Meanwhile, check out ourEngagement shoot pinterest board.
