Scrumptions opened their doors in 1986. Since then business has been growing and lots of exciting pastries and candies have been developed. People loved our treats so much, we couldn’t help but evolve into being even more creative with the batter! As our assortment of recipes grew, so did our dream of sharing our enthusiasm for food and our little neighborhood bakery! We are now a neighborhood favorite in many communities- a great place to find a warm welcome.
Our store features our handmade chocolate truffles, gift baskets and fine confections, as well as the all-time favorites from our bakery: cheesecakes, cookies and many other assorted treats perfect for any occasion. Wedding cakes have been our specialty for years. We range from the traditional to fun and crazy. We work with brides throughout Southern New England. Newport, RI weddings are especially popular. Brides love that our cakes taste as delicious as they look and look forward to the first year anniversary cake that we make FREE of charge. Anniversary cakes are the same flavor as the original wedding cakes… just in case the happy couple was too busy to enjoy the cake on their special day!
