Curry Station, a wide variety of Indian dishes are prepared in styles ranging from traditional, Northern, Southern, Indo-Chinese, to Goan. The Kadhai pan and the Tandoori oven are among the Indian utensils and equipment used in Chef Narendra Singh Saud’s kitchen as he prepares each dish. Chef Narendra began cooking at an early age in the kitchens of his mother and grandmother in Nepal, where everything was fresh and organic. Learning about different cuisines stimulated his interest in other cultures and he began to associate foods with the richness and diversity that he found in the arts of other cultures, beginning his love and passion for food! Chef Narendra started his vast career in the esteemed kitchen of the Marriott Hotel in Mumbai, where he worked his way from kitchen hand to assistant cook. From there, his professional journey took him through several elite hotel groups throughout the world, including Intercontinental Hotels and Resorts, Jumeirah, Kempinski Hotels, and finally all the way to Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman. The Ritz Carlton allowed Chef Narendra the opportunity to grow and perfect his art by working alongside such master chefs as Anthony Bourdain and Eric Ripert! With more than 15 years of experience under his belt Narendra decided to settle down in Sarasota, FL in order to share his passions of fresh ingredients, rich tastes, traditional Indian dishes, and cultural fusion! He decided to open Curry Station in 2014, and more recently Curry Station B in 2015, both to rave reviews! Curry Station offers private events and catering to suit the specific needs of your special day! We would be honored to share our wide array of Indian dishes, and love of Indian cultural with you and your guests! Congratulations on your engagement! We look forward to hearing from you!
