The talented team at Unique Weddings by Alexis was lucky enough to manage a fusion wedding on Spectacle Island, one of the Boston Harbor Islands. This wedding was completely unique in every aspect. The location of the wedding was beautiful, with water on all sides and an amazing view of the Boston city skyline from every seat. The fun trip for the wedding guests from the Longwharf dock in Boston to the island by ferry boat was quite a treat.
The fusion wedding was a beautiful coming together of the bride and groom’s two faiths. It was done is such a personal way, both families felt well represented. At the end of the vows, the parents of the bride surprised the couple with a stunning flower drop from a helicopter over the mandap which looked out at the Boston Skyline.
The food served at the wedding was a combination of cultures. Both Indian food and a western style menu were incorporated. Summer Shack prepared all of the western food and coordinated to bring the authentic Indian options to the island.
All of the vendors who provided their services for this wedding were such team players! UWbA had to coordinate special boats to bring over all of the wedding flowers, the band, the wedding photographer, videographer and even the amazing wedding cake designed by The Bean Counter Bakery! Everyone was very accommodating and just excited to be part of this special day.
It was a fabulous party, all of the family and guests had an amazing time.
